Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Cast" from México is without doubt one of the best bands the worldwide neo-prog movement ever has yielded. I've discovered them in the year 2004, when the album "Nimbus" surfaced in some German CD stores, only to find out that I was horribly late, because the first "Cast" album was issued no less than ten years before. 13 years later, mastermind Alfonso Vidales evidently hasn't lost anything of his fascinating creative energy. If I had to name some of the defining artists and bands of symphonic prog in the last 30 years, "Cast" would be one of the first names that came to my mind. Favorite track: Details: a) Circle Spins.
